The Duchess now repositions more aggressively, cuts off sustained circling, and partially leads her shots while fully visible on screen.
In the final Duchess phase, reinforcements arrive from two randomly chosen entrances once her health drops below half.
Combat waits for your first movement after entering a map or returning from a cutscene. The Duchess?s opening battle and its music begin when you first shoot her shield.
Reworked the Duchess?s final moments with a rumble after her dialogue closes, followed by a charging lamppost and a purple beam before the flame turns green.
Improved Frostglass terrain streaming and ground-loot rendering to reduce stutters. Reduced expanded-map redraw work while moving, including in Salt Port.
Improved loot delivery after large groups of enemies die, so rewards no longer wait behind a map-wide drop queue.
Smoothed rescued creatures? movement and animations. Added a one-time Frontier Atlas explanation that rescues are optional and offer rewards.
Expanded loot and crafting progression, including Everflame, revised high-rarity gear rolls, and supply drops that scale with map level.
Improved Blue Tallow reward bonuses and their handling across expeditions and Duchess rewards.
Made food labels easier to distinguish from Unique item drops and removed routine gem-proc notices.
Adjusted over-levelled experience rewards and fixed the alignment of the attribute allocation buttons.
Version 0.1.13
A calmer arrival in Darkmire
Improved the opening cutscene's pacing with longer pauses at key story beats, cleaner narration endings, and more space before the Duchess's laugh.
Shortened the first extraction's thoughts to three lines. The hideout now reveals quietly, holds on your character, and pans to the old hermit before the cutscene begins.
Fixed hideout music starting before the opening cutscene and remaining silent afterward. The cutscene now returns through black, with the hideout and its music fading in together.
Added confirmation-based Uninstall game and Uninstall launcher actions to the launcher's Options menu. Game saves and settings are preserved.
Updated the game's window, taskbar, and Windows executable to use the same A icon as the launcher.
Fixed Windows game package paths so the launcher can validate and unpack the download correctly.
Version 0.1.3
A clearer game installation
The launcher now distinguishes Install from Update and waits for you before downloading the game.
Choose the game installation folder and see its location in the launcher. Existing installations keep their current location.
Installation now shows separate download, verification, unpacking, and finishing stages, with progress and clearer errors when a transfer stops responding.
Version 0.1.2
The Windows playtest launcher
Added the Windows launcher for downloading and opening Arrowflame.
Connect your approved playtest account to install the game and start your adventure.
